  • Testing a soleniod?

Can anyone help me by explaining how to test the soleniod on my 2006 club car pprecedent 48v? (In simple terms! I am a newb)

Well, you can bench test it. But if you are looking for an easy way to find out if the solenoid is causing your problem it is easier to bypass it, run a 6 gage jumper cable across the 2 large terminals of the solenoid, if the cart runs, the solenoid is not functioning and needs to be replaced. If nothing happens, problem is somewhere else.

Matti is correct and I am only adding this as information.
I don't know what problem you're having. If you haven't had an opportunity to check out the Precedent service manual it is located here: http://www.golfcartsforum.com/golf-c...ce-manual.html
The information on solenoid testing is on section/page 11-20.
