I have a 2007 Club Car Precedent with new batteries installed back in June. I use the car every other weekend. The first few times i charged the batteries all was OK. Now, when I charge the batteries overnight they are OK however when I leave them on the charger for the two week period they boil over spilling a few drops of acid on the shop floor. I have not added any water. The level is just over the top of the plates. Any thoughts?
Batteries overflowing?

The battery charger will recycle if if is left plugged in and the finishing/equalization portion of the charge cycle runs for about 4 hours with the batteries at over 2.5v per cell which will off-gas and cause some residue.
My advice is to charge the cart before you leave then place the run/tow switch in the tow mode and unplug the charger. When you come back to the cart within the next couple of months, recharge and run as normal.
