This diagram says it for a 1995 cart but the wiring is the same for 48v series carts with controller until at least 2005.
The only resistor carts were 36v.

Pierre, Can you take a photo of what you are referring to and post it so we can see what the red wires are?

It is impossible at this moment to take a picture because the Car is stored for winter, but the 2 wires are red and were connected One on - of battery 6 and the other one on battery 1

Those wires could be for battery charging or they could go to the state of charge meter. If they are 10ga or so it's probably the battery charging leads if the wires are 14ga-18ga they are probably for the meter.

Thanks Dougmcp. This is exactly what I was looking for. Quick question do you have the legend key for the diagram. a description of what the numbers designate. I am hoping it will tell me what gauge. wire is used
