  • How to disable the reverse buzzer on a 2006

I'd like to find out how to disable the reverse buzzer on a 2006 club car DS.

My old 97 model there was a wire that I could unhook to go to stealth mode.

Any idea where which wire it is on the forward reverse panel?

The reverse buzzer is required to indicate diagnostic codes, for that reason and safety as well, why not just do what most do and put a piece of tape over the buzzer to quiet it down?

I'd like to just add an inline switch so that I can turn it off when I need to.

I'll pull the dash panel and see what options are available

              Quick follow up question.

Should I unhook the positive bat lead or just put the cart in tow mode when dropping the dash?

I'm afaraid I might get an arch off the ignition if I dont do one or the other..

Put the cart in the tow mode first then disconnect any post on any battery to break the series chain.

                    The tape really works well.

Try cutting one of those packing peanuts to fit the hole and then tape it. Im guessing you are going to use the cart for hunting. I unpluged mine and the charger didn't work right. I use mine for hunting too.

Well I installed an inline switch last night on the reverse buzzer. Works like a charm.

I will find out is there is any impact at my next charge cycle...
