          Anything that is pre 1980 is a Club Car Caroche, first introduced in the early 70's. The serial number between 1975 and 1980 can be found by lifting the seat. Look on the aluminum I-beam located just inboard of the driver side battery bank. Also, all Club Cars made during this time have two brake pedals. These carts also had hydraulic brakes.
          It should look like this:



          The serial number for Club Car golf cars manufactured in 1981 or later can be found just under the passenger side glove box. Look around the area where the floormat meets the underside of the dash. Also, all modern Club Cars have only one brake pedal.
