  • won't run but has power.

    Hi
I have a 95 Club Car 48 volt which I customized several years ago. Lift kit large tires and painted camoflouge for hunting (mostly birds). I like to repair things myself and would lke to know best place for parts and accessories and be able to get help in diagnostics.
I have little knowledge in DC wiring systems but do have AC systems knowledge.

Currently my cart began not moving when I depressed the pedal then it would work. Now it won't work at all. I found a corroded terminal on one of the three limit switches on the F&R and replaced that but it did notsolve the problem. The batteries are charged and I wold like a wiring diagram. I also need help in diagnosing problem.

    Thanks in advance
    Bo

    to GCF Boc!
Normally the problem you state is related to battery connections, solenoid or the MCOR throttle.
Check to make sure all your connections are clean and tight.
You can jump the large posts on the solenoid with a 6ga wire and see if it runs.
The wiring diagram for your cart should be this one: http://www.golfcartsforum.com/attach...ng_diagram.jpg

MCOR is the continuous variable throttle that controls the input to the controller.
I posted the wiring diagram up a couple of posts ago and the service manual is here: http://www.golfcartsforum.com/golf-c...ce-manual.html

I am also new and have a very similar problem. 48v club car. Nothing happens when pedal is depressed. Found out if you push cart with pedal depressed that it runs fine.
It will then run fine forward and reverse until you let the cart sit for ?? long. If you try to make it run after a day or so you have to push it again, forward or backward in order to make it run. Any ideas will be appreciated.

This just started recently, don't use it real often. Is this something I could remedy.

                        Thanks for the advice.
