It's over 100 here today but your answer is:
    1. If you have a run/tow switch place in tow position.
    2. Charge before storage.
    3. Recharge every 30 days.
    4. Store inside if possible, if not they will be OK as long as they are charged every month.

Store your batteries inside if you can if very cold like near 0 degrees Fahrenheit. If normal winter weather, keep batteries charged like Doug said.

I spend the summers in NM (el 7500 ft). Last winter it reached -20 F. Before I left I charged my batteries, put the cart in tow and unhooked my lead pos and neg terminal.
When I returned 8 months later I hooked everything back up, plugged in the charger and it ran like a champ.
