98 club car 48v. How can I perform a load test by using a volt meter?

put a volt meter across the battery pack after a charge. Then vary the throttle and record how much the voltage drops under normal crusing.

also: If you already dont have a voltage meter, make sure to buy one with alligator clips on them! The prong type is just too hard to balance

As Trash just stated thats the way to do it.

Make sure all your connections are clean and tight as corrision doesnt flow current.
