  • 95 club car carryall 48v lifted got slower

I have a 95 club car carry all 48v. I just lifted it and increased tire size, but now its much slower, mainly up hill. Will lifting and larger tires cause this? Does it change the gear ratio in the motor? Any suggestions?

    All of the above.
You have effectively decreased the gear ratio theoretically causing an increase in speed and a corresponding decrease in torque.
If you have also lost speed, chances are your controller is probably the stock one and won't handle the current demand.
If you want your speed and torque back you will need to upgrade the controller to a 400 amp or 500 amp model.
You will also have to change your battery cables to 4ga or even 2ga depending on the controller you choose, your tire size and your performance goal.
There is a cure but we will need to know what mods you have done so far and what you you want to accomplish.
BTW, welcome to Golf Carts Forum.
