  • What battery does my gas golf cart use?

Usually a gas golf cart uses either a group 24, 25, 70 or even 75 lead-acid 12 volt battery, some are top post (usually in E-Z-GO's and Yamaha's) while others are side post (usually in Club Car's). Battery groups are determined when you measure the length, width and height of the battery.

These batteries can be purchased at any automotive store, bring the measurements or the old battery and they will match one up for you. Find a battery rated above 600 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) and if you are in a cooler location find one higher rated.

*The acid in your battery will easily burn through your clothes and skin, wear gloves and eye protection when handling and wash up with soap and water after. Your old battery is recyclable and usually will get you a discount when purchasing a new one, so bring it!
    Regards
