  • What model Club Car golf cart do I have?

It is important to understand which model Club Car golf cart you have. The two pictures below represent two Club Car DS models, one built in the year 1999, and the other built in 2005.

Midway through the year 2000, Club Car made some changes to the outside body of all DS models. You will see that any DS models made AFTER 2000.5 will look like the 'newer' 2005 model pictured below. While any DS models made BEFORE 2000.5 will look like the 'older' 1999 model pictured below.

    1. Two separate seat backs
    2. Uses a rubber coated pipe as seat armrests
    3. Silver aluminum roof supports
    4. Thin plastic roof with no handles
Every Club Car DS made in the years 1982 - 2000.5 will look like the golf cart pictured above.

    1. Connected seat back
    2. Molded plastic triangular shaped arm rests
    3. Black roof supports
    4. Molded plastic roof with handles
Every Club Car DS made in the years 2000.5 - present will look like the golf cart pictured above.

The latest Club Car currently in production is the Club Car Precedent. The body of the golf cart went through a complete appearance overhaul with many more innovative features added including a sleek 360° all around bumper.
