Should I have NOT bought new Deep Cycle batteries that have a Cranking Amp for my Electric Cart..Thought I read somewhere only buy batteries without the Cranking Amps. My cart runs good for about 10 min. then not enough power to pull me up a slight hill. When that happens I have checked the total output of each battery and output of the combined batteries (36 volts). I was wondering maybe the cart was only using the cranking amp part of the battery...if that makes any sense. Thanks in advance

While deep cycle batteries are designed for consistent, slow discharges over extended periods, cranking amp batteries are tailored for short, high current bursts like starting an engine. In an electric cart, you'll want batteries optimized for deep cycling, as they provide steady power over a longer duration. Cranking amp batteries might struggle to maintain consistent power delivery, especially when sustaining energy for a longer time, such as climbing hills or extended rides.
