Yamaha (2011) Gas Cart has bad sway when I hit a slight bump or dip in the road- Need help

I have a Gas-4 seater 2011 Yamaha that we use in Poconos, PA in a gated community with gravel roads. However, it seems that when we hit uneven pavement I feel as the steering is off or that the golf cart seems to loose control. Its a bad sway from side to side at higher speeds or when I hit a slight bump or dip in the road. Any suggestions? We added the springs last year? Will lifting it solve the problem or new heavy duty shocks? Definitely happens more so with weight in the back as opposed to only 2 people on the cart. Any advice.
