2004 EZGO TXT 36 Volt will not charge.

I checked my 04' EZGO TXT 36V batteries yesterday, water was low. I added distilled to the proper level. The cart will propel as though it has a charge but my charger shows no readout and clearly will not charge. Batteries read 36v +. I can only assume my charger works today b/c it worked yesterday. The wall receptacle has power. Where to start troubleshooting i do not know.

What do I do??

I had a charger quit charging. A local automotive electric guy was able to diagnose the problem, order the part, and fix it for less than $80 in three days.
