04 48 volt DS Club Car slooooow

Hello all, I have a 2004 DS with a Curtis controller and a Plum Quick Motor. It has worked great for 5+ years. New batteries last fall. Now it has not motor brake, the reverse buzzer does not work all the time and it moves slow. It will take off and then go slow. The batteries charge good and test good. Any ideas?
