I went to look at a 2007 club car precedent today. Guy was asking $2700. Looked OK, other than busted windshield. I want a gas cart to lift and put bigger tires on somewhat like a side by side UTV (only cheaper). My question is regarding the starting/operation. The club car would not start and idle in neutral, only when in gear then wanting to go in the direction the selector is in. I'd like to be able to let it warm up in neutral and not automatically shut off every time I stop. Does an EZ Go operate like that or can I rewire any brands to accomplish my purpose?
Afraid my wife or grandkids may start it up and have it launch one direction or another. We have not had a cart before, so may take some time for them to get the hang of it.
