Charger question

Hi, just bought a 2002 EZGo and it has new Interstate batteries. I'm attempting to charge the batteries with my Power-Wise charger. I've been charging over 6 hours now and the meter hasn't gotten over 5 amps. Is this normal?

If the batteries were fully charged it could be. Can u take a volt meter and read the voltage of the cart with out the charger on then with it on.

Thanks for answering, Andy. I don't have a volt meter, but the problem may have resolved. The charger did turn off by itself and the batteries (I believe) are now fully charged. If I have any further questions, I'll surely ask you. Thanks, again.
