New Member with speed issue

I think it is the speed sensor based on searches of the site, but when I pulled the sensor out it doesn't look like any I have seen online. It is a 48v club car. Not sure what year it is, but there is a note under the seat that says the batteries were replaced in 2006 and I just replaced them again, so I would guess it is a 2000 ish model. I don't have a pic of the cart and it is not currently with me, but here is a pic of the speed sensor. Any ideas on why it is different?
