Ready for the Campground!!

Well, with a little luck, our '89 CCDS will be out to the campground this weekend ready for cruising.

The batteries are all charged up, the rear seat kit is new, and the paint is all waxed up and lookin real shiny.

Paved roads and LOTS of steep grades. Looks like a 48v upgrade might come sooner.

It's a DuPont Black that has a deep dark blue in it when the sun shines on it.

We're going for a NASCAR theme on it. I just picked up a good, used set of Carlisles for it. I am going to paint the letters on the tires yellow and the rims black when I mount the new skins. I'm going to take some measurements and photos of headlights and taillights to a local graphics shop and have decals made up. Then I'm going to get decals on the canopy of our last names with a small US flag next to them.

Remember, this is a NASCAR theme. I've seen way too many carts painted up like Dale jr.
