Monster Cart

OK,
here is a little more info on the green Monster Cart.
I bought this for the off road trip to CAW last June that I sponsored.

Getting loaded for the CAW!




This is a TXT fleet cart I converted to 72 volts with a 48-72 volt Alltrax controller with D&D motor for 72 volts. I put a 400amp 72 volt F/R contactor in it and did away with the F/R handle. 24" tires and stock wheels.



I have 9 -8 volts in it and 2 12 volts for the extra's.
7 - 8 volts under the seat


2-8 volts under the bed in the bag well.


2-12 volts on passenger side of cart.


I put this in also to keep up with miles.








This is a solenoid guy's are better know as a contactor.


This is the same thing but it's a F/R contactor!




Trail riding at night brake lights are a must with some of the guy's I ride with.



72 volt Delta Q charger I bought off E-Bay!


Solar panell for the 12 volts!

This is my second favorite of your 2 EZGO's. There is a lot of things on this cart that I like! Too much awesome things going on on this cart to list!!!

To finish up the bent tubing I would put on end caps like on the rear bumper, I have seen a lot of custom end caps at Lowes in their hardware dept. This may give the effect that the bumpers are sold steel as apposed to weak bent tubing.

Thanks. There are some small changes to the cart since these pictures were taken. We, as in my son Ryan and I added a seat on the bed and some screen to make his senoir project last year for High school. We built a paintball vehicle for him. He made a A+ on it.

Gotta love this 72v cart, it looks like it's just dying to drive on someones yard and do what we call out here, a "Lawn Job".

Got a few more things added to the Monster cart getting ready for the CAW in July.

Winch:


Remote switch for the winch.


Solenoid



Going to mount it on the new front axle.



I think it has plenty of ground clearance now.


I added a fuse and a cooling fan for the controller also.




I put the on/off switch in the black plastic cover to operate the fan with.



I pulled the main contactor a part and cleaned it and put a filter over it to keep mud and dirt out of it. You would be surprised at the stuff that gets in there. It's pitted some but seems to engage fine I have some new ones just in case though!








I installed some fender flares to to try and keep some of that mud off me in July!

Got a little more done.
Got everything cleaned up now I have to primer and paint.

Here it is in it's bare state. It can be took off when needed.

I also got the front 3 leaf heavy duty springs installed today as well.
