  • Power invertor questions

Last night we had our golf cart Christmas Parade. 46 carts participated and of course we light em up with decorations. Everyone seems to have the same problem in trying to keep the lights lit for the whole parade. The normal invertors need 12 volts (too many volts and the invertor fuse will blow). So we attach to 2nd in line battery for 12 volts, but as the parade progresses, of course the batteries drain til not enough juice to run the invertor. Is it possible to attach to in line battery 3,4,5, or 6 and run the line through a voltage regulator? Any suggestions?

Hi tberk. Yes you will need to get a 48 to 12 regulator, or a 36 to 12 regulator, whichever your cart runs on. They are around $100.
