1987 ez go gas cart backfire issues

I am new to this and these carts and I'm having the backfire issue with my cart also when the cart is warm and comming off the gas to an idle. I'm seeing advise of changing out the plug,air adjustment screw, and valve adjustments. I was wondering if my cart has the same adjustment on the air screw of 1 1/2 turns out. Is this the standard setting for all carts as I can't find a carb diagram for it. Its a mikuni carb. I can't find much for diagrams and such so any help there would b extremly helpful as it backfires so loud it will either cause someone a heart attack or hearing loss long before it blows the pipe right off the cart. Thx much.

see you posted this 4 weeks ago are u still having this problem ? what have you done to the cart?

I replaced mine with a k&n and removed the air box that stopped mine from back firing
