I am looking for advice as to what would be a good make and model utilitarian cart for practical transport.
My father is seriously contemplating buying waterfront property in rural NH after I have finished college and my brother finishes High School. Before the move it will be used in the city as an NEV and once we have the place it will be used for light agriculture and offroad use.
I am looking for one that is built as a pickup truck and has a substantial bed to it. I strongly prefer electric for a variety of reasons. Something like this would seem to me to be worth looking at but I cannot afford to buy this one new:
In short it will be a farm truck in miniature. What I am looking for is described very well here: http://homestead.org/NeilShelton/The...k-upTrucks.htm
Range is important so ideally I will be looking for a 48 or more volt system in a frame that can bear the weight of the big T-145 batteries or similar.
I will be buying used for financial reasons, probably going for one that "worked fine until the batteries died", and will not buy it now as I am doing adequately without one and don't have the money to spend (YET).
