A simple engine oil change can lead to a long healthy golf cart life and save you a lot of time and money in the future. Oil changes should be performed on all gas golf carts semi-annually or after 125 hours of running time.

Key Tips:
  • Drain oil while engine is still warm. (Not hot!)
  • Drained oil should be pure with no large or obscure objects in it.
  • Tip or jack up the cart to ensure all the oil or debris has fully drained.
  • Clean oil filter with a solvent or replace.
  • Refill engine with SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 motor oil that meets or exceeds SF, SG, CC oil.
  • NEVER overfill
