1992-04 Gas Club Car DS:
To remove the governor - Directly behind the forward facing seat there is a differential access panel (a black plastic cover). Remove the cover and you will now have easy access to the differential.

On top of the differential you will see a gold arm. Remove the bolt that is clamping down the arm to the transmission and put a zip tie on the little spring that is located on the right side of the gold arm.

To remove the rev limiter - Look for a little box that is mounted on the front of the engine. In that area there is a black wire that is grounded by a screw to metal. Remove the screw holding the black wire and tie electrical tape around the black wire.

*Max revolutions per minute on this engine is 4000RPM.
